  • Quartet Concert

    Quartet Concert at Bowen Center for the Arts

    Thursday, May 8th, at 6:30 pm

    Quartet, which is comprised of members of the Chamber Symphony, will play a variety of music, classical from the 18th century through the 20th century, and even a little jazz. The concert is free and open to the public, with free parking available nearby.

    Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A Minor, Dr. Alex Wasserman, soloist

    The Reinhardt “winds” will join the Chamber Symphony for the Beethoven and the Grieg Concerto.

    If you love chamber music, this concert is for you!

    The string quartet will play quartets from the romantic

    and classical periods, and some popular songs. Concert

     is free, and will last about an hour and a half.

    Please mark your calendars for a wonderful symphony experience. We are joining with Reinhardt University to present Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante, K 297b which features Oboe, Bassoon, Clarinet and French Horn soloists, with a full orchestra accompanying. We are also performing two of Franz Schubert’s most loved works, Symphony No 8 in B minor commonly known as The “Unfinished Symphony” and Entr’acte No 3 from Rosamunde, D. 797.

    The concert is free at all locations, and will be less than an hour and a half.  Tickets are only required for the Sunday concert and are available at the Falany Performing Arts Center website, at no cost.
